system transaction
An instruction to a computer system to take an action. Examples include an order to buy a contract, to sell a contract, to cancel an order, or to modify an order. For electronic trading systems, a key measure of performance capacity is the number of transactions per second ( TPS) i.e., the number of bids and offers the system can process.
